1. The working surface of the assembly platform shall be free from defects such as sand holes, air holes, cracks, slag inclusions, shrinkage porosity, scratches, bumps, rust spots, etc., which seriously affect the appearance and service performance.

2. The casting surface of the assembly platform shall be cleaned of molding sand, flat and painted firmly.

3. The sand hole with diameter less than 15mm is allowed to be blocked with the same material on the flat working surface with accuracy registered as level 0-3, and its hardness shall be less than that of surrounding materials. The number of sand holes blocked in the working face shall not be more than 4, and the spacing between sand holes shall not be less than 80mm.

4. The assembly platform shall be made of high-quality and fine gray cast iron or alloy, and its working surface hardness shall be 170-220hb.

5. The working face of assembly platform shall generally adopt scraping process. The maximum allowable value of surface roughness Ra is 5um for the three-stage flat face with scraping.

6. The scraping process shall be used for color matching inspection. See Table 3 for the ratio of the area of contact points shown after the research; or see Table 3 for the number of contact points according to the square area of 25 mm × 25 mm, and the number of contact points in any 25 mm × 25 mm shall not be more than 5.
